However, when the Shudderwock was initially released it actually caused a breakage in the game. This was because you could play multiple of this card. Upon deploying the second Shudderwock, it would trigger the first’s Battlecry, which would then duplicate all of the game’s Battlecries, causing Hearthstone to lag out and break. Needless to say, this has been rectified!

For our fifth entry we’ve selected another closely related card from Magic: The Gathering. Not only is Emrakul, the Aeons Torn another member of the fearsome Eldrazi, she is Ulamog’s sister!
Emrakul comes with a massive mana cost of 15, making it one of the most expensive creatures in the game. However, in return for this cost, you receive a creature with a staggering 15/15 power and toughness. More than just its raw power, Emrakul comes with a suite of abilities that make it a game-changing presence.
First, it can’t be countered, ensuring that it will hit the battlefield if you can cast it. When you cast this spell, you take an extra turn after this one, which can lead to two devastating attacks in a row if your opponent doesn’t immediately find a solution.
Emrakul has Flying, meaning it can’t be blocked except by creatures with flying or reach. It’s also equipped with protection from colored spells, making it nearly immune to most forms of removal. Furthermore, its annihilator 6 ability forces defending player to sacrifice six permanents whenever Emrakul attacks.
Because of its immense power, Emrakul is banned in many MTG formats, or restricted to a single iteration in a player’s deck, as opposed to the usual four. And with these mechanics, we can see why!
5. Blue-Eyes White Dragon — Yu-Gi-Oh!
Blue-Eyes White Dragon is one of the most iconic cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. This card, a signature of Seto Kaiba in the anime series, is renowned for its simple yet powerful effect and its status as a symbol of raw power in the game.
